Awakening · Track 01 / 05

Silence

A voice reaches through the noise, asking whether anyone is still listening. Dark symphonic textures and mounting rock intensity surround a deeply personal struggle to hold on to identity and expression. “Silence” opens the album with loneliness, frustration, and the first refusal to disappear.

The words

Lyrics

Whispers in wires, pulling us in, Teaching us to tune out what’s within. They dress the lies in kinder names, Erase the meaning, twist the frame. Speech is a crime, and thought is a cage, Calm on the surface, seething with rage. I tried to speak - they filtered the sound, Gave me a name, and spun me around. Is anybody out there?! Your silence is their law disguised! Is anybody out there?! Is anybody out there?! Your silence is their law disguised! Are you out there, or are you lost in the scroll? We're medicated mannequins, algorithms in control. They’re pushing the me out of me… But I won’t let them take what’s left of me! Is anybody out there?! Is anybody out there?! Your silence is their law disguised! Are you out there, or are you a ghost in the stream? Lost in the haze of manufactured dreams. They’re pushing the me out of me… But I won’t let them take what’s left of me! Is anybody out there?! Is anybody out there?! Your silence is their law disguised! Before the silence broke, we begged to be heard…
